Silky Oak Slabs — Salvaged Greensborough VIC
Grevillea robusta
Silky Oak is a stunning Australian native timber, prized for its distinctive lace-like ray figure and warm golden-brown tones. These slabs were salvaged from a residential property in Greensborough following storm damage — the trees were removed for safety reasons, giving this beautiful timber a second life rather than going to waste.
All 20 slabs come from a single tree, meaning stock is strictly limited and won’t be restocked once sold.
Each slab features a retained live edge and has been milled, dried and flattened, ready for your project. Dimensions and pricing are marked on individual slabs and shown in the photos.
Viewing is strongly recommended prior to purchase — we’re happy to have you come by the yard by appointment.
