Slabs

Our timber comes from storm-damaged trees, wind-fallen logs, and demolition salvage — sourced locally across Victoria and milled at our workshop. Rather than seeing remarkable trees go to waste, we recover them, season them properly, and bring them to you as something worth building with.

 

Every fallen tree is a useful resource waiting for the right hands. 


We stock a constantly rotating selection of Australian and exotic species — from Messmate and Silky Oak salvaged after storms in the Nillumbik shire and the Macedon Ranges, to wind-fallen Atlas Cedar from the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. Each species is different, each slab is unique, and stock moves quickly.


Because no two slabs are alike, we always recommend coming in to see them in person. Our yard is open by appointment at give us a call and we’ll have the kettle on. Just joking we don't have a kettle.
